Twelve columns and signals compressed into a chain-reading checklist.
Module 3 covered the 11 columns and signals of an option chain. This recap is the chain-reading checklist — what to look at, in what order.
1. Highest call OI strike = likely resistance for this expiry.
2. Highest put OI strike = likely support.
3. Max pain = magnet on expiry day.
4. PCR = sentiment, extremes are contrarian.
5. ATM IV = compare to 90-day percentile.
6. IV skew = steep put skew = downside fear priced in.
7. OI Change concentration = today's positioning shifts.
8. Volume spikes = active strikes.
9. Bid-ask = liquidity check before trading.
10. LTP = last trade, but always check bid-ask.
11. Monthly chain context = does longer-horizon positioning agree?
2-4 weeks of daily practice. Spend 5-10 minutes per day looking at the chain and predicting where it'll be by close. Within a month, the patterns become recognisable.
