Boilerplate
Short (one line). Strota is a free public dashboard that tracks where institutional money is flowing in Indian markets.
Standard (one paragraph). Strota (strota.in) is a free, public dashboard for Indian market flow data. It brings FII/DII positioning, F&O open-interest buildup, bulk and block deals with named counterparties, delivery behaviour, insider and promoter filings and the NIFTY and BANK NIFTY option chains into one place, refreshed every minute during market hours, with no login and no paywall. Every figure traces to a public source: exchange archives, F&O participant open interest, and insider and takeover filings.
What the data is
- Universe: Indian markets, with the NIFTY 500 constituent set used for the per-stock and sector cuts.
- Sources: official exchange archives (NSE/BSE), participant-wise open interest, exchange large-deal disclosures, PIT and SAST filings, live quote feeds, and named third-party feeds for macro references.
- Cadence: intraday minute refresh during market hours; end-of-day datasets after the close; deal and filing data as the exchanges and regulators publish it.
- History: every trading session has a dated permalink, so a number can be cited after the fact. Example: strota.in/2026-09-29.
Reusing charts, screenshots and numbers
- You may publish Strota charts, tables and screenshots. No request needed, no fee.
- Credit visible: "Chart: Strota, strota.in", linking to the page the data came from.
- Do not alter plotted values. Cropping, resizing and annotating is fine.
- Citation formats and canonical URLs: strota.in/cite.
If you need a number checked or produced
Deadline work is the point of this page. Tell us the question and the format, and we will verify the figure against the source or produce the cut in the time available. See contact.
