Terms of Service

The rules under which Strota's free dashboard is provided to you.

Last updated: 2026-06-03

By accessing or using Strota ("the Site", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Important — not investment advice. Strota is an analytics and educational tool. Nothing on the Site constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice. Signals, insights, and pattern detections are descriptive interpretations of public market data, not predictions or recommendations. Do not place trades solely on the basis of anything you see on Strota. Always do your own research and, where appropriate, consult a SEBI-registered investment advisor.

What Strota provides

Strota aggregates and presents public market data from official exchange archives, third-party market data feeds, and other public sources, and applies rule-based pattern detection on top of that data. We may also auto-generate textual analysis from the same data. None of this is bespoke advice for your situation.

Data accuracy

We use commercially reasonable efforts to display accurate, timely data. However:

If accuracy is critical to a decision, verify with the underlying official source (exchange data / regulatory filings / broker statements).

No warranty

Strota is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strota, its operator(s), and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any losses (including trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.

To the extent any liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to your use of the Site is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian Rupees).

Your responsibilities

Intellectual property

Strota's source code is published on GitHub at github.com/tommyct614/nifty-pulse; the licence terms in the repository govern that. The presentation, written analysis, and editorial choices on the Site itself are © Strota.

Market data displayed on the Site belongs to its respective owners (exchanges, regulatory filers, market data providers, etc.). We claim no ownership over the underlying data.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites (news publishers, brokers, regulatory filings). We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those third-party sites.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

If Strota begins displaying advertisements or includes affiliate links (for example, links to open a demat or trading account with a broker), we will clearly disclose those relationships. Affiliate links may earn Strota a commission, at no additional cost to you, when you sign up or transact through them. Such relationships do not influence the data, signals, or analysis presented on the Site.

Modifications

We may change these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via the Site's home page banner for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Suspension or termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site for any user or visitor, at any time, with or without notice, if we believe their use is harmful to the Site or its other users.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
